Prabhas is doing back-to-back Pan-India movies. His recently released Adipurush movie flopped at the box office and was directed by Om Raut. The latest update is that ‘Adipurush’ began streaming quietly on OTT this Friday. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video bought digital streaming rights.
The Prabhas-Kriti Sanon starrer is now streaming on both OTT platforms after eight weeks of theatrical release. The Hindi version was released on Netflix, while the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions are available on Amazon Prime Video.
The film was released in theatres on June 16 earlier this year. The film managed to earn 393 crore rupees in a way that no one expected, despite facing many controversies. According to the trade reports, Aadipurush has crossed the Rs 450 crore gross mark in its 11-day collections.
The film made a strong debut at the box office. However, bad reviews, poor VFX, and crude dialogue severely affected the long run at the box office. Dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla-Om Raut faced various threats. Finally, OTT lovers get access to watch movies on their favourite platforms.
