Allu Arjun Visits Sri Teja at KIMS Hospital, Extends Support

Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Begumpet on Tuesday to meet Sritej, a young boy who was injured in the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre. He inquired about the boy’s health and discussed his condition in detail with the doctors. Allu Arjun assured the family of his full support during this difficult time. Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and producer Dil Raju also visited the hospital along with Allu Arjun to console the boy and his family.

The stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre claimed the life of Revathi, a woman, while her son Sritej sustained severe injuries. The boy is currently undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital. Allu Arjun personally informed the Ramgopalpet police about his visit to the hospital in advance, leading to heightened security arrangements in the area.

Background of the Incident 

The stampede occurred on December 4 near Sandhya Theatre. Following the incident, the Ramgopalpet police registered a case. Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the case and presented before the Nampally Court, which remanded him to 14 days in judicial custody. On the same day, his legal team approached the High Court, which granted him interim bail, allowing him to be released from jail. Subsequently, Allu Arjun filed a petition for regular bail in the Nampally Court, which was granted after the remand period ended.

Financial Support Extended 

In addition to his personal visit, the Pushpa 2 team extended financial assistance to Revathi’s family. Allu Arjun donated ₹1 crore, while the film’s producers and director Sukumar contributed ₹50 lakh each to support the grieving family.
