Animal Earned 300 Crore Profit and Sequel in the Works. the film “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has become a massive blockbuster at the box office, earning a staggering profit of 300 crore for the producers. Released three weeks ago, the movie has already joined the prestigious 500 Cr Club in the Indian box office and collected a worldwide gross of 800 Cr.
The film, crafted with a budget of 200Cr, opted for an independent release strategy, avoiding third-party sales and relying solely on advances. Impressively, it managed to secure 140Cr from non-theatrical rights, contributing to the overall success.
With a global gross surpassing 800Cr and a share exceeding 350Cr, “Animal” is poised to conclude its run with an expected share of around 400Cr. Even after factoring in theatrical earnings, production and publicity costs, commissions, and other expenses, the producers are looking at a substantial profit of around 300Cr.
Director Sandeep Vanga, who is also one of the producers along with T-Series, finds themselves in a significant jackpot as they share the profits. The success has prompted the team to capitalize on the film’s popularity by swiftly moving forward with a sequel titled “Animal Park.” Initial works for the second part of this thrilling saga are reportedly already underway.
