Megastar Chiranjeevi and mass director Bobby (KS Ravindra) are teaming up for a power-packed mass action entertainer titled Kaaka. As this is the second film coming from the duo after the blockbuster hit Waltair Veerayya, expectations are already high in Tollywood. Producer Venkat K. Narayana is producing the film on a huge budget under the banner of KVN Productions. Anaswara Rajan is playing a key role in the film. The title teaser of Kaaka has already impressed the audience. The makers have now shared an interesting update about the film, which is currently progressing at a rapid pace.
The makers have announced that Bollywood actor Anurag Kashyap has been roped in for a crucial role in the film. It is learnt that Anurag Kashyap will be seen in a powerful and intense role that will complement Chiranjeevi’s character. The film unit reportedly felt that the character designed by director Bobby perfectly suited the Bollywood actor’s image.
There is no need to introduce Anurag Kashyap to the Telugu audience. Apart from being a director, he has also earned a separate fan base as an actor. His villainous role in Maharaja was particularly well received. In Tollywood, Anurag was earlier seen as a policeman in Decoyt. Now, his appearance as the antagonist opposite Chiranjeevi has further raised expectations for the film.
Kaaka is scheduled to release on January 13 as a Sankranthi special. Let’s see what kind of success the film achieves.
