It is widely known that after tasting a failure with the debut film, Ninnu Choodalani, for his second film, then young hero Junior NTR did Student No 1 under the direction of SS Rajamouli under the direction supervision of B Raghavendra Rao.
The film went on to become a musical hit and established Tarak as a hero. The film was produced by senior producer Ashwini Dutt. Meanwhile, in a very recent interview to an entertainment channel as a part of his recent hit, Sita Ramam promotions, Ashwini Dutt revealed actual facts behind Student No 1.
Reportedly, Ashwini Dutt actually planned to make Student No 1 script with Prabhas as his debut film but things didn’t workout and NTR entered into the scene.
Ashwini Dutt went on to say that it was NT Ramarao’s son and Junior NTR’s father Harikrishna the key person behind making Student No 1 with NTR.
Not stopping there, Ashwini Dutt revealed that he even planned to make Okato Number Kurradu with Prabhas but it also didn’t happen as Prabhas was under acting training in Vizag at that time and Tarak Ratna came into the picture.
Project K Latest Updates
Talking about the ongoing pan-India project, Project K, Ashwini Dutt revealed that the film has wrapped up fifty percent of its shooting part and the rest is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023.
Nag Ashwini is the director for Project K which has stars legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a key role. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani are the female leads in this said-to-be sci-fi thriller.
