“Bedurulanka 2012” is an upcoming film starring Kartikeya Gummakonda, set to release on August 25th. Global star Ram Charan released the film trailer. The trailer reveals that Kartikeya’s character values self-respect over ego, and the story takes place on an island called Bedurulanka in the year 2012.
The film revolves around the strange belief that the world would end on December 21, 2012, and explores the peculiar situation that unfolds on the isolated island. Kartikeya’s character returns from the city and confronts two arrogant individuals, who later join forces with two others to deceive the villagers.
Neha Shetty and Kartikeya are paired as a romantic comedy couple. The film also features a strong cast, including Goparaju Ramana, Ajay Ghosh, and Srikanth Iyengar. Mani Sharma has composed the film’s music and background score, which is said to be his best work.
