Another talented assistant director from Sukumar’s school is all set to take the megaphone. Directors like Buchi Babu Sana, Srikanth Odela, and Karthik Dandu from Sukumar’s disciple group are already creating sensations in the industry. Now, another young talent from this school is preparing to make his directorial debut.
According to the latest information, this time, instead of approaching outside producers, the project will be launched directly under Sukumar’s own production banner Sukumar Writings. Sukumar has always been at the forefront of encouraging his disciples by giving them opportunities to direct and providing production support. It seems that he has decided to produce this upcoming film under his own banner.
Another interesting detail about the new director is going viral in industry circles. He reportedly worked in a crucial department of Sukumar’s ambitious pan-India blockbuster Pushpa series. After closely observing Sukumar’s working style on the sets of Pushpa, the young talent is said to have mastered various filmmaking techniques and is now being promoted as a director with a solid commercial script.
Preparations are reportedly underway to officially announce the film next year. The young director, who is currently putting the final touches on the script, will soon begin pre-production work. Having worked on a massive project like Pushpa, his filmmaking vision is expected to be different.
The Sukumar Writings banner is known for its content-oriented films. With this project being made under the same banner, expectations are already rising. The film is expected to have a strong storyline that makes the audience think, along with commercial elements. Since it is being made under Sukumar’s supervision, the project has also generated good buzz in trade circles.
The makers are reportedly preparing to announce the details of the hero, cast, and technicians soon. Fans are confident that this new film from the Guru-Shishya combination will become another success in Tollywood. It remains to be seen how well the new talent from Sukumar’s school will live up to expectations.
