The upcoming horror film, Chandramukhi 2, directed by P Vasu and starring Raghava Lawrence, is set to be released in September as a special for Vinayaka Chavithi. The movie has gained a lot of attention in trade circles and is doing well in pre-release business.

The leaked information reveals that the film has a runtime of almost 3 hours and follows a similar storyline to its successful predecessor, Chandramukhi. The Chandramukhi 2 story revolves around a rich family facing problems in their large house, and after performing rituals for their family deity, they accidentally awaken the conflict between the ghosts of Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja.

Chandramukhi’s soul then possesses one of the family members, and the rest of the story focuses on how the family can escape the trouble. The film is scheduled to be released on Vinayaka Chavithi in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Raghava Lawrence reprising Rajinikanth’s role and Kangana Ranaut replacing Jyothika. Other cast members include Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, and many more are in key roles.
