While trying to win her love, Kalyan unexpectedly ends up joining a Naxalite group. This puts him in a complicated situation where he has to fight for his survival. The rest of the story revolves around how Kalyan gets out of these troubles.

- Sree Vishnu–Satya Combination
- Entertaining Fun Moments
- Good Performances
Negative Points:
- Slow Start
- Weak Character Introductions
- Dubbing Issues
- Underwhelming Climax
Technical Aspects
The production values are decent. Music director Vijay Bulganin delivers decent songs and background music, although the score could have been stronger in a few key scenes. Sai Sriram’s cinematography looks rich. The editing works well for the most part, but trimming a few scenes here and there could have improved the pace.
Writers Bhanu Bhogavarapu and Nandu Savirigana have blended comedy well into the conflict built around the hero. The comedy scenes work better on the big screen than the promotional content suggested. Director Janakiram Marrella executes the story well and brings out good performances and comic timing from the cast.
Verdict
Overall, ‘Comrade Kalyan’ is a time-pass comedy entertainer packed with fun moments. The comedy track featuring Sree Vishnu and Satya generates plenty of laughs in theatres. Although the opening portions and climax stumble a little, the film delivers good entertainment. If you are looking for a decent entertainer this weekend, this film is worth considering.
Bottomline: Entertainer
