Earlier, The Madras High Court has banned Vishal’s film after Lyca Productions, a production company, filed a plea to recover money owed by Vishal. Vishal had taken a loan from Gopuram Films to produce films but failed to repay it, leading Lyca Productions to file a case against him. This legal battle has been ongoing, with Lyca Productions now attempting to ban Vishal’s film.

“Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film ‘Mark Antony’ is a highly anticipated science-fiction comedy. It stars Ritu Varma as the female lead and SJ Suryah in the main role. The soundtrack is composed by actor-music director G V Prakash Kumar.

Due to the backing out of another film, ‘Chandramukhi 2’, ‘Mark Antony’ will be the only release this Friday. The film’s success is eagerly awaited as the director’s previous movies, ‘Laththi’ and ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodavum’, did not perform well at the box office.”
