Court Stay vacated: Vishal Mark Antony release as planned

Vishal Mark Antony release as planned, Vishal next movie Mark Antony all set to hit theatres on September 15th. Lyca Productions' plea to ban Vishal's Mark Antony release has been dismissed

Vishal’s Tamil film “Mark Antony” is scheduled to release on September 15, as planned. The Madras High Court has lifted the ban on the film and allowed its release without any objections.

Vishal and the film’s producer, Vinod Kumar, expressed their relief on social media platforms. Vishal took (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “The restraining stay order earlier given by the Honourable High court of Madras against “Mark Antony” is Removed. The movie is releasing on September 15th, coming Friday as per planned. Thank God.”

Earlier, The Madras High Court has banned Vishal’s film after Lyca Productions, a production company, filed a plea to recover money owed by Vishal. Vishal had taken a loan from Gopuram Films to produce films but failed to repay it, leading Lyca Productions to file a case against him. This legal battle has been ongoing, with Lyca Productions now attempting to ban Vishal’s film.

“Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film ‘Mark Antony’ is a highly anticipated science-fiction comedy. It stars Ritu Varma as the female lead and SJ Suryah in the main role. The soundtrack is composed by actor-music director G V Prakash Kumar.

Due to the backing out of another film, ‘Chandramukhi 2’, ‘Mark Antony’ will be the only release this Friday. The film’s success is eagerly awaited as the director’s previous movies, ‘Laththi’ and ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodavum’, did not perform well at the box office.”
