Mahesh Babu plays the character named Venkataramana Reddy, whose father, Vaira Venkata Swamy (portrayed by Prakash Raj), is a prominent figure in the Janadalam Party. Despite Mahesh Babu not being a fan of politics, he unexpectedly enters the political arena after his father’s 80th birthday, drawing parallels with the plot of Bharat Ane Nenu.
The Guntur Karam story revolves around how the hero deals with enemies and political challenges after entering the political world.
