Baahubali 2’s opening day collection of ₹200 crore shocked the trade circles, and Kalki 2898 AD brought in ₹1,100 crore globally. His reputation guarantees producers a return on their investments, no matter how large the budget. Prestigious production houses are investing in his films with hundreds of crores. Upcoming projects include The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, set to release on April 10 next year, Salaar 2 by Prashant Neel, Spirit by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and another by Hanu Raghavapudi with Mythri Movie Makers.
Beyond his stardom, Prabhas is admired for his generosity. He consistently donates to causes, often doubling the contributions of other stars. This year, he donated ₹2 crore towards flood relief in Kerala and another ₹2 crore for victims in the Telugu states.
