In India, Ravi Teja crossed the ₹50 crore mark in Nizam for the first time. Coming to the final overseas box office collections of Irumudi, the film collected $1.76 million gross in North America, which is around ₹17 crore in Indian currency, while it collected $100K gross in Canada. Overall, the film registered $2.4 million gross overseas, creating the highest overseas collections of Ravi Teja’s career. In the total Irumudi box office collections, the overseas market contributed ₹23 crore gross, giving Ravi Teja the biggest hit of his career.
Directed by Siva Nirvana, Irumudi had huge expectations right from the time the film was announced. Priya Bhavani Shankar’s performance, the songs composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, and the film’s BGM also became highlights of the movie. Along with that, the father-daughter sentiment written by Siva Nirvana and the Ayyappa Swamy backdrop connected well with the audience.
