The upcoming Rajinikanth and Tamannah starrer “Jailer” movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is generating a lot of buzz among fans and industry insiders. Scheduled to release on August 10, 2023, the film’s trailer and songs have garnered a positive vibe, building up anticipation for its theatrical release.

In terms of Jailer pre release business and box office target, “Jailer” has set its sights on different regions. In Tamil Nadu alone, the film is done massive theatrical business 60Cr. Similarly, in Karnataka 10Cr.

Moving further down south, in Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana (TS), the film deal done at 12Cr. Kerala 5.5Cr, ROI 4Cr. The worldwide theatrical free release business of Jailer is set at 123 crores. That means the movie should receive at least 124 crore share collections at the box office.

That means gross collections need to be made in the range of around 250 crores. But if we look at Rajinikanth’s market ratio for the past few years, no film has given the expected amount of profits for the investment. After 2011, every movie of his has been causing a lot of losses. And this time we have to see how much profit Jailer will provide.
