One of the most eagerly awaited sequels is the follow-up to S Shankar’s blockbuster film, “Bharateeyudu.” The original film, titled “Indian” in Tamil, was released back in 1996 and now fans are finally getting the sequel they’ve been waiting for. Today, the renowned director released Bharateeyudu 2 intro video as promised, that gives a glimpse of how he plans to showcase India and the iconic character, ‘Kamal Haasan.’

In the 1996 film, Senapathi (played by Kamal Haasan) hinted that he would return if the need arose, and now, with corruption once again plaguing society, a social media movement has emerged, urging Bharateeyudu to make a comeback. The hashtag #ComebackIndian has been trending, and the intro video reveals Kamal’s return as he proclaims, “Namasthe India! Bharateeyudu is Back.” The introductory video promises an epic film, with Shankar’s trademark visual style and impressive production design.

The background score by Anirudh, is catchy and adds to the excitement. Ravi Varman’s cinematography brings even more life to the teaser. The Bharateeyudu 2 video also offers tantalizing glimpses of other star cast in the film, including Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani.
