Plus Points: Kartikeya Performances, Comedy, BGM Minus Points: First half, Screenplay, predictable scenes

Verdict: The film effectively conveys a message about fraudulent godmen exploiting people’s naive beliefs. This is depicted in a well-organized manner, with the concept of an apocalypse adding depth to the story. The sarcastic nature of the Godavari region residents is also effectively portrayed in the first half-hour of the film.

Kartikeya did a great job in his role, especially with his comedic timing. His character was well developed, starting off as a cool youngster and later taking on the responsibility of saving others from spiritual leaders. Neha Shetty also performed well as a village girl, and had good chemistry with Kartikeya.

While the interval in the film is satisfactory, the subsequent scenes are disappointing and poorly executed. This leads to the film becoming dull. There are some brief moments of enjoyment through witty remarks, but the turmoil experienced by individuals during the apocalypse could have been portrayed in a more compelling way.

Over all, Bedurulanka 2012 has an intriguing premise and some enjoyable moments. Kartikeya, Ajay Ghosh, and Srikanth Iyenger deliver commendable performances. Although the main concept is interesting, it is not fully realized. The beginning and end of the film are strong, but the middle sections are disappointing with inconsistent storytelling. Additionally, the movie could have benefited from a shorter duration. Despite these drawbacks, it might be worth watching if you can overlook them.
