Laal Singh Chaddha starring Bollywood star Aamir Khan in the lead role had a theatrical release today in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. Let’s see how it is.

In the process, he falls in love with his childhood friend Rupa( Kareena Kapoor). Later, Laal joins Army where he meets Balraju( Naga Chaitanya). Later, he comes across several challenges in life. What are those life hurdles? To know that, you have to watch the film in the cinemas.

Laal Singh Chaddha Movie Review

Merits: Aamir Khan did her part perfectly. True to his title Mr.Perfectionist, the actor and the filmmaker delivered a commanable job in all aspects. His transformation from different stages of life is good and adds realistic texture to the proceedings.

Naga Chaitanya did a key cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha and impresses with his on screen presence. The bromantic scenes between Aamir Khan and Chay will be loved by the audience.

Heroine Kareena Kapoor gave her best in the given purposeful role. The chemistry between Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor has been showcased in a beautiful manner.

Demerits: Though Aamir Khan gave a good performance most of his acting and facial expressions look like a copy and paste from his previous films like Ghajini and PK.

Adding to it, the dead slow paced second half literally tests the patience of the audience and look at the exit doors.

Technical Crew: Director Advait Chandan did his job sincerely. He executed the film under the supervision of Aamir Khan and he should be appreciated for his work.

Other departments like music by Pritam, Tanuj Tiku is good. Writing by Atul Kulkarni registers to an extent. Editing work is decent but the film would have been chopped close to ten minutes in the second half.

The cinematography work by Satyajit Pande is cool. The production design and the production values for this emotional life drama are okay.

Verdict: To wrap up, though Aamir Khan and other artists gave their best for the film, Laal Singh Chaddha suffers from pace related issues in the second half. Flat and unexcited portions throughout the second half makes the film a tedious watch.
