Sumanth’s crime thriller ‘Newton’s Third Law’, which had a decent run in theatres, is all set to make its way to the digital space. The makers had put in considerable effort to hook audiences with this one, and while the film managed a moderate theatrical outing, it now gears up for a wider reach through streaming. ETV Win, which has picked up the digital rights, has officially confirmed that the film will begin streaming from August 27, 2026.
Directed by Rajesh Karna, this crime investigation thriller features Jagapathi Babu, Srinivas Avasarala and Trinadha Varma in key roles. The makers had pinned high hopes on the film doing well at the box office, but it fell short of expectations in terms of theatrical collections. Now, all eyes are on how the film fares once it drops on the OTT platform, where a fresh set of viewers could give it the push it missed on the big screen.
Producer Harish Kohirkar backed the project, betting on its investigative thriller template to click with audiences. Whether ‘Newton’s Third Law’ manages to find the appreciation it was looking for on digital remains to be seen once it goes live on ETV Win.
