Naga Chaitanya’s latest movie, Custody, is set to hit the OTT platform, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video OTT. Directed by the talented Venkat Prabhu, this bilingual film was released in theaters in May 2023, but unfortunately, it didn’t perform as well as expected at the box office in both Telugu and Tamil.

Today, Amazon Prime OTT’s official account confirmed that Custody is available starting June 9th. The team also released a new poster regrading the same. Custody boasts an impressive star cast, including Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj, and Ramki in crucial roles.

The film’s music and background score have been composed by the legendary Illayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who have worked together for the first time on this project. The cinematography was handled by SR Kathir, adding to the film’s visual appeal.

The story revolves around Shiva, an honest police constable played by Naga Chaitanya who is determined to do his duty sincerely. One night, Shiva plans to elope with his girlfriend, Revathi, played by Krithi Shetty, from her marriage. However, things take an unexpected turn when he finds himself caught in the middle of a fight between CBI Officer George, played by Sampath, and a criminal named Raju, played by Aravind Swamy.

Shiva locks both of them in a cell without knowing their identities, but when he discovers that George is a CBI officer, he realizes the gravity of the situation. As an attack happens on the police station, Shiva retaliates by bashing the goons and fleeing away with George and Raju. What happens next? Does Shiva succeed in his mission?
