The producers initially wanted to release the teaser early and promote the film heavily, but PK’s recent speeches have generated enough hype and craze for the film without needing additional promotions.

Director Samuthirakani has now gone to Andhra Pradesh to record PK’s voice, and once the teaser is released, Sai Dharam Tej and his heroines Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier will begin promotions. The film is set for a July 28th release.
