performance: Naga Shaurya gives a respectable performance and He looks great on film. One of the highlights of the film is his sharp performance. Malavika Nair also did a fantastic job. She performs flawlessly in the emotionally charged scenes and takes excellent care of her appearance to reflect her emotional state.
Abhinav Maharshi, Megha Chaudhary and other did they roles in this film. The background music is effective in setting the right mood for the emotional situations involving the principal actors.
Verdict: With rom-coms like Oohalu Gusagusalaade and Jyo Atchyuthananda, Srinivas Avasarala is well known. He is a fantastic writer who is recognised for crafting brilliant one-liners, humorous banter, romantic situations, and more. He is more than just a great director. Sadly, PAPA ignores each of these elements.
The majority of the chats are dull and try the patience of the audience. Also, the chats add needless latency and turn the movie into uninteresting fodder. At least a few comedic situations are there in the first half, but the second half of the movie is really dull and features a lot of uninteresting scenes.
The story is pretty simple and the chemistry between Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair is pretty good. Some of the scenes between the lead pair are enjoyable. On the whole, Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi is a boring love drama that lacks a proper narration. Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair performed well. Except for very few lovely and comedy scenes, the film has nothing much to offer. Those who love slow-paced love dramas may connect to the story. Otherwise, it’s better to look out for alternatives this weekend.
