Prabhas is shooting back-to-back for his upcoming movies Fauzi and Spirit. According to the social media, Fauzi has been postponed to Summer 2027. Although there has been no announcement from the production house Mythri Movie Makers about the postponement of Fauji, everyone is convinced that the postponing is certain. Since the production house offered no denial, there was no reason to doubt the postponement. The question that is on people’s minds is why there was a need to take a break again.
According to internal sources, the shooting of Fauji is a bit more balanced. It is heard that director Hanu Raghavapudi does not like to rush the shoot as 20 more days of filming are pending. Another reason is that two key artists are not getting dates. Those who were supposed to come from Mumbai are reportedly unable to come when requested by the Fauji team as they have other commitments. This is also said to be leading to delays.
Prabhas’s attempt to shoot both Fauzi and Spirit in parallel could be another reason for the current situation. However, sources close to Prabhas say that due to huge production delays and repeated schedule extensions, he had no other option but to give dates to fauzi and Spirit. Moreover, director Hanu’s refusal to compromise until the post-production and VFX reached the desired quality has brought him to this point. There is nothing we can do here except to think that everything that happens is for the best.
Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed the music for Fauzi, which stars Imanvi as the lead heroine. It is being made as the story of a Brahmin soldier who rebels against the system during the British rule. Along with the love story, there will be plenty of action and emotions. If Spirit which was supposed to come out in March 2027, does not change its release date, Fauzi may have no other option but to delay its release until the summer of 2027 or even later.
