Prabhas makers officially announced Spirit New Release date is October 29, 2027 and targeting Diwali 2027. The shift from March to Diwali clearly indicates a well-planned pan-India strategy.
The Spirit new release date poster released along with the Prabhas new look is receiving a tremendous response. The caption, “One Bad Habit,” and Prabhas’ stylish look with a cap have significantly increased the buzz surrounding this highly anticipated film. The makers seem to have taken this positive decision because the festive season is the perfect fit for a pan-India project of this scale to achieve massive openings.
Coming to the Spirit Movie shooting, the team appears to be following a well-planned schedule. Vanga revealed that 40% of the shoot had been completed by July, followed by another 40-days schedule in August. Although the work is progressing at a good pace, a film of this magnitude requires dedicated time for post-production, dubbing, and nationwide promotions. The team seems to have decided to take that additional time to deliver the best possible quality.
one of the producer T-Series’ planning is also said to be one of the reasons behind skipping the March 5 release date. Since their is another film Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 coming from the same banner is also scheduled for the same date, they have reportedly decided to give Spirit a better festive slot rather than release two films from the same banner on the same day. With this decision, the film now has a clear runway to create a box-office storm without major competition.
The Diwali holidays are a huge advantage, particularly in the Hindi market. Diwali is one of the biggest festive periods for the North Indian box office. Following the sensation created by Animal, Vanga is returning with another film, and with Prabhas’ star power added to the mix, theatres in the North are expected to witness tremendous excitement during Diwali.
