Today, Sooreede and Oh My baby songs from movies featuring two popular Tollywood actors, Prabhas and Mahesh Babu, were released at the same time. The first one, “Oh My Baby,” is from the film “Guntur Karam,” directed by Trivikram and starring Mahesh Babu. Within an hour, the song garnered over 500,000 views and received 97,000 likes. Despite high anticipation from Mahesh Babu’s fans, some feel that Thaman did not completely meet their expectations. The song is receiving a mixed response from Mahesh Babu’s fan base.
Right after the debut of the earlier song, an emotional track named ‘Sooreede’ was launched from the movie ‘Salaar.’ Since it’s a Pan-India film, the song was simultaneously released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Impressively, the Telugu version of ‘Sooreede’ amassed over 600,000 views in just 40 minutes, with over 100,000 likes in the initial 16 minutes. Within an hour, the song reached more than 770,000 views and garnered over 200,000 likes. In other words, the ‘Sooreede’ song dominates the ‘Oh My Baby’ song.
The Hindi version of the song received more views than the Telugu version. In just an hour, the song accumulated over 320,000 views and received 79,000 likes. Judging by the Telugu views, it’s evident how eagerly fans and audiences are anticipating the Salaar movie, and the song lives up to those expectations.
The lyrics by Krishnakanth are particularly praiseworthy. The verses by KK are remarkable, describing the hero’s true nature who stands up for a friend with poetic imagery. Harini Ivaturi’s voice is distinct, and the melody crafted by Ravi Basrur is delightful.
Conversely, some of Mahesh’s fans are committing and expressing dissatisfaction with Ramajogaiah Shastri over the lyrics of ‘Oh My Baby.’ stating that the lyrics are not up to par. Meanwhile, social media is witnessing comparisons between these two songs, leading to arguments and heated discussions among fans of Mahesh and Prabhas, with some unfortunate exchanges taking place.
