Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran sustained a leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Vilayath Buddha, on Sunday in Kerala. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kochi and advised bed rest for the next couple of months.

The actor will undergo surgery and is expected to take a complete rest for 2–3 months. This unfortunate incident has put a halt to the filming of ‘Vilayath Buddha’ and may impact other movies he is currently working on, such as ‘Aadujeevitham’, ‘Salaar‘, and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
