While fans were thrilled when the project was announced, the repeated delays left them disappointed.

Adding to the anticipation, Suriya’s recent career choices have raised concerns, with fans urging the actor to prioritize Vaadivaasal. Thanu further revealed, “Now that Viduthalai has been released, Vetrimaaran will shift his focus to Vaadivaasal. The animatronics work, which is in its final stages in London, is progressing well, and the film will begin shooting soon.”

The director is committed to spending extra time on pre-production to ensure perfection. Suriya is expected to start filming Vaadivaasal once he completes his current project with RJ Balaji. Fans can now look forward to the long-awaited sports drama finally taking shape.
