Pushpa 2 Producers Granted Interim Relief by High Court: The much-awaited pan-India sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, directed by Sukumar, released grandly on December 5. However, an unforeseen tragic incident occurred the night before, on December 4, near Sandhya 70mm theater, casting a shadow over the celebrations.
Following the incident, cases were filed against lead actor Allu Arjun and producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen. In response, the two producers filed a petition in the High Court to have the cases against them dismissed. Their legal counsel argued that theater security does not fall under their jurisdiction and that they had already informed the police in advance about the potential crowd, which is why there was a significant police presence at the venue.
Despite taking all precautionary measures, the unfortunate incident occurred, and holding the producers accountable for it was unjustified, their lawyer contended.
Acknowledging these arguments, the High Court issued interim orders preventing the arrest of the Pushpa 2 producers, providing much-needed relief for them in this critical matter. The court has also postponed further hearings for two weeks.
