Devi Sri Prasad, who has been associated with Sukumar since the early days of his career, is reportedly not part of RC17, with another music director expected to replace him. Earlier, the name of Dhurandhar music director Shashwat Sachdev went viral on social media. Now, Anirudh Ravichander’s name has also been doing the rounds over the past few days. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, discussions about the film’s heroine have also gained momentum.
Sukumar is reportedly looking to bring a fresh pairing to the screen by casting Ram Charan opposite a new face. According to rumours, Bollywood actress Aneet Padda, who won hearts across the country with Saiyaara, is being considered for the female lead in RC17. A video is also circulating on social media, with claims that Sukumar himself has hinted at her involvement.
It is being speculated that Sukumar hinted at the heroine of his upcoming film with Ram Charan through the initials “AP.” If Aneet Padda is confirmed for the project, it would mark an interesting pairing. However, another rumour suggests that Dhurandhar actress Sara Arjun could play the female lead.
The film’s office was inaugurated a few days ago, and the RC17 pooja ceremony is expected to take place soon. The project is reportedly set to go on floors before the end of this year. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official announcement regarding the cast and crew.
