South Indian heroines are no longer sticking to one industry. They are moving freely across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema, picking up big offers across multiple industries at once.
Rukmini Vasanth: Currently seen opposite Yash in the Kannada film Toxic, Rukmini is now making her Malayalam debut in Nivin Pauly’s 51st film. She is also part of Jr NTR’s pan-India film Dragon.
Mamitha Baiju: Fresh off a successful run of Malayalam hits, Mamitha is currently trending with the Tamil film Vishwanath & Sons and is set to enter Telugu cinema with a straight Telugu film.
Kayadu Lohar: The busiest of the lot, she is doing multiple films, including Nani’s much-awaited The Paradise, along with the Tamil films Immortal and Suriya 48. She is also part of the Malayalam films Thaaram and Dulquer Salmaan’s I Am Game.
