According to the latest report, Samantha’s most anticipated movie Shakuntalam release date has been postponed. The original release date is February 17th, which is directed by Gunasekhar. Shaakuntalam makers have already stated promotional activates but due Pathaan movie released has been postponed.

Shah Rukh Khan spy action thriller is doing good at the box office in all areas. Kartik Aaryan-starrer Shehzada, which was to open on February 10, has rescheduled its release date to February 17. This is also one of the reasons for Shaakuntalam being postponed.

Samantha starring Shaakuntalam, is set to release on Pan India Level. The Samantha makers wouldn’t get enough screens clashing with this movie. So good sense prevailed and the makers decided to defer Shaakuntalam. A new date will be announced in the coming days.
