Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s highly anticipated movie is Skanda. The recently released Skanda trailer created good hype for the film, along with makers doing aggressive promotions. Skanda’s initial release date was September 15th, but the makers postponed it to a new release date.

Today, Skanda makers officially confirmed the film is all set to hit theatres on September 28th, and USA premieres will be on September 27th. Confirming the Skanda new release date, makers released a new poster that shows Sreeleela and Ram Pothineni in traditional attire.

According to the release date, the film was released on Thursday, so a long weekend is always an advantage. Then, there is a holiday on Monday (Gandhi Jayanthi). Thus, Skanda will capitalise on holidays to get massive openings. What better date can they get for this high-budget entertainer, who will also cash in on the Dussehra holidays?

Skanda is the most expensive budget movie for Ram, and the movie also set a record in the pre-release business as well. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the movie on a large scale under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. SS Thaman scored the music. Skanda will have a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
