- The first half drags and slow Narration
- Tovino gets too little screen time.
- Uneven support roles
Technical Aspects:
The production values in this film are good. The setup and atmosphere that is suitable for this film have been presented with good production design. Sushin Shyam’s music has impressed. The camera work is good. The editing is good but could be a little better. The dubbing needs to be better for some characters. Director Jeethu Madhavan’s work in the film seems decent. The setup and narration have been planned well. It has been planned as a different crime thriller but more care should have been taken in some things.
Verdicts:
Overall, ‘Scene’ movie stands out as a different crime comedy film. The film moves along decently without unnecessary fuss. Suriya leads the way with his versatile performance, while Nazriya, Fahadh and Naslen provide good support to him. The second half gives a better feel compared to the first half. Leaving aside the villain’s backstory and the slow first half, this crime comedy film can be watched in one time.
Bottom-line : A One-Time Watchable Crime Comedy!
