Thalaivar 168 Rajinikanth begins shooting for Siruthai Siva's film with a song

(Rajinikanth Thalaivar 168 Shooting Updates) Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Darbar, he has already started shooting for his upcoming flick. Tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, the rural entertainer will have director Siruthai Siva at the helm. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has an ensemble star cast including Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu and Prakash Raj.

The shooting of Thalaivar 168 went on floors yesterday (December 18) in Hyderabad. According to composer D Imman, the film’s shooting began with a song that he came up with. He also took to Twitter to share a photo with Rajinikanth and revealed some interesting information regarding the film.

Sharing the photo, D Imman wrote, “Met the Man of Simplicity our dear @rajinikanth sir on the first day of shoot today which had commenced with a song! His positive words about the song was so encouraging!What an aura! What an energy this man spills to the world around him! Breathtaking! Praise God! (sic)”

 

Keerthy Suresh, who is touted to play the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in the film, will join the shoot in the first schedule. While Khushbu is rumoured to play Thalaivar’s romantic interest, Meena will be seen in an important role, according to reports.

Reports suggest that Prakash Raj will play the main antagonist while Soori will be providing the comic relief in this commercial venture. If sources are to be believed, the untitled film will hit the theatres on Diwali 2020.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Darbar, which is slated to hit the theatres on January 9, 2020.
