Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay is currently working on his 66th project. Being directed by Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally, the film is titled Varisu( Varasudu in Telugu). Even before the release of Varisu, news regarding Thalapathy 67 and Thalapathy 67 villain are trending topics among the netizens.
Getting into details of Thalapathy 67, the film is expected to go on the floors from December 2022. The film is going to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who recently tasted huge success with Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram.
The film marks the second time collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after the 2021 film, Master. Coming to Thalapathy 67 villain, reports suggest that Lokesh Kanagaraj is planning to rope in yet another Tamil star Dhanush as the antagonist in the movie.
Vijay is currently busy shooting for Varisu that has Rashmika Mandanna. Top Tollywood producer Dil Raju is bankrolling the film with a massive budget. Reportedly, Vijay and his team will focus of Thalapathy 67 from November after wrapping up the shooting for Varasudu.
An official confirmation regarding Thalapathy 67 villain is also expected to be out during the same time. Yet another interesting update is that Thalapathy 67 is going to be a gangster drama set in Mumbai backdrop. More details regarding the project will be unveiled by us soon.
