At one point in time, Abhi feels that he is going against his ethics on the journey and decides to go on a Thank You tour? Thank You Movie Review
Definitely, Naga Chaitanya puts in an earnest performance as Abhiram and pulls off different emotions with ease. His settled and composed acting brings depth to a couple of scenes. The actor is Chay is visible on the screen in his self-obsessed and hyper-natured character. Though Chay did his part perfectly, somewhere the audience feels like his character has Premam and Majili shades in it.
Raashi Khanna is super cute and stylish on screen but her character lacks a fresh vibe in it. The chemistry between Chay and Raashi is adorable but nothing great to put it here. Other actresses such as Malavika Nair and Avika Gor did decent acting but will be left unrecognised due to poor approach.
Actor Sai Sushanth Reddy gets a meaty role and he did his part quite effectively. Prakash Raj and Sampath are just okay in their extended cameo roles.
Firstly, the narration is underwhelming as there is nothing so great to rave about from the story’s perspective. The narrative is too stretched out and the story itself feels like a mix of other movies in which Chay acted in the recent past.
Director Vikram K Kumar’s direction is a mismatch and has nothing much to discuss here. His weak treatment comes as a major demerit for the predictable storyline.
The cinematography work by ace photographer PC Sreeram is outstanding as his visual presentation gives a soulful vibe to the entire film. His framing and lighting setup are done perfectly.
The story provided by BVS Ravi has similarities with films like Premam and Majili. The dialogues written by Venkat and Chaitanya Mithun are okay but would have been even better. Editing by Naveen Nooli is alright and he chopped off the non-sense part and kept the runtime within limits.
Production values for this star-studded film by Dil Raju’s production house are lavish. The production design work is good enough.
To wrap up, Thank You is completely Naga Chaitanya’s show as he carried it on the shoulders. His ease in acting in the multi-layered character brings authentic texture to the film but the flat and unengaging presentation makes Thank You a diluted watch.
