Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Review

Sotry: Intelligence officer Raghavendra Rajput (played by Anupam Kher) is determined to learn everything about the infamous criminal Tiger Nageswara Rao (played by Ravi Teja). Tiger, a dangerous thief from the Stuartpuram area, becomes the most wanted criminal in Andhra Pradesh due to his crimes.

Tiger challenges that he will rob the Prime Minister’s office, capturing everyone’s attention. The big question is: Why does Tiger Nageswara Rao want to rob the PM’s office, and what is his story? The movie revolves around uncovering these mysteries.

Positive Points: Ravi Teja Performance – Action Episodes – Interval – 1st Half Negitive Points: Songs – Missing Screenplay 2nd half – Run time

Verdict: The director had some unique ideas and they flourish for the most of the part in First Half. There is two point of views to the life of Tiger Nageswara Rao and they narrated as first half and second half.

In the initial first half, Tiger Nageswara Rao portrayed as a cruel Daku, criminal and then it suddenly shifts in the second half which is hard to digest for the audience. The second half tests everyone patience. Lot of cinematic liberty in storytelling, fights and robberies but it gives the enough high.

In the second half, the film reveals Tiger Nageswara Rao’s true identity, but quickly descends into a typical action drama. Unfortunately, the second half becomes tedious, filled with predictable and uninspired scenes. The story lacks freshness, offering yet another clichéd Robin Hood narrative.

Raviteja was phenomenal as Tiger Nageswara Rao. He carried the whole movie and gave a stunning performance. Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj were good in their roles. Renu Desai as Hemalatha Lavanam was good but her runtime is less. Nasser, Anupam Kher and all others were good. GV Prakash gave good background score and forgettable songs. Poor VFX and production values ruined lot of scenes. There are solid high moments in the film and fans will witness a new Raviteja in the film. A decent watch.
