Allari Naresh’s latest flick, Ugram, didn’t quite hit the mark with audiences, despite the unique and aggressive promotions leading up to its release. Naresh, who typically plays comedic roles, switched gears after the success of Naandhi and began focusing on content-oriented films. Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, who also directed Naandhi, Ugram hit screens worldwide last month and is now gearing up for OTT streaming starting this Friday.
Amazon Prime OTT has officially announced that Ugram will be available for streaming starting June 2nd. Prime videos acquired digital rights for fancy price. While Ugram received below-average reviews and talk from audiences, Allari Naresh’s performance was a standout and left viewers mesmerized. His performance in the climax action episode was particularly thrilling, with many stating that he acted like a big mass hero.
The film stars Mirnaa Menon as the female lead and is a cop action drama that also features Shatru, Sharath Lohitashwa, and Indraja in other important roles. The film’s dialogues were written by Abburi Ravi, shot by Siddharth J, and edited by Chota K Prasad. Sri Charan Pakala composed the music, and the movie was produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens.

Ugram tells the story of Shiva, an honest cop who gets into an accident with his wife and daughter. After the accident, his wife and child go missing, and Shiva is left to find them. Who kidnapped Shiva’s wife and daughter? What challenges will he face in finding them? Find out by watching Ugram starting this Friday on Amazon Prime.
