Actor Vijay Deverakonda has teamed up with director Parasuram for an upcoming film VD13, which was recently launched in Hyderabad. The project is being bankrolled by Dil Raju. Exciting news has emerged about the VD13 film’s title, with sources suggesting that it will be called ‘Family Star’. While an official announcement is yet to be made, the VD13 title has already generated buzz for its catchy and humorous vibe.

The film will see Mrunal Thakur, known for her role in Sita Ramam, star opposite Vijay. Shooting is set to begin soon, marking the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram after their 2018 blockbuster Geeta Govindham.

In addition to this project, Vijay Deverakonda has also started shooting for a new film under the direction of Gautham Tinnanuri, with Sree Leela as the female lead. Meanwhile, his romantic drama Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana and starring Samantha, is gearing up for a worldwide release on September 1st 2023.
