Director SS Rajamouli is teaming up with superstar Mahesh Babu for a globe-trotting action-adventure film titled SSMB29. The story script has been in the works for over a year and is said to be along the lines of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

In a recent interview, Prasad shared some exciting details about the Mahesh Babu SSMB29 project. He revealed that the “SSMB29 script should be finished by July. It will be an adventure-action drama with lots of emotions, like Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). We’re leaving the climax open-ended, which opens the door to a sequel.”

The SSMB29 movie may begin filming later this year or early next year. With the global success of Rajamouli’s previous film, RRR, expectations are high for this upcoming collaboration.

Mahesh Babu is currently working on another film, directed by Trivikram, titled Guntur Kaaram. The film is currently filming in Hyderabad and is slated for release in 2024.
