Cult Story:

Cult movie story begins with  birthday party thrown by Goa’s Home Minister’s son, Elvin (Tarak Ponnappa), where the guest list reads like a who’s who of the country. Then imagine the party turning into a cat-and-mouse game of murder, with bombs hidden in every corner so the police have no safe way in. Trapped among the guests is DSP Sankalp Nayak (Vishwak Sen), who is the only one with a plan to get everyone out.

Positive Points

  • Vishwak Sen’s screen presence
  • Action sequences with swag
  • Tarak Ponnappa’s frustration gags
  • Strong penultimate portions
  • Guests’ courage sequences
  • Emotional backstory
  • Vivek Chepuri’s performance
  • Decent supporting cast

Negetive Points

  • Lacks tension
  • Story without impact
  • Weak, silly games
  • Slow pre-entry narrative
  • Dipping post-interval graph
  • Needs trimming

Technical Aspects :

Talking about the technical department of this film.. Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan’s cinematography work is amazing. Along with the key scenes in the film, the rest of the action scenes have been shot brilliantly in accordance with the storyline. The editing is also good.

The songs composed by music director Ravi Basrur are good. Their pictorialization is also good. The background music is also impressive. Vishwak Sen must write more depth and understanding way and he gave more preference to the action. But, he did justice to this film as a director. Producer Sandeep Kakarala produced this film without compromising anywhere. His production values are good.

Verdicts:

In this high-voltage, intensive action drama, called Cult in the slasher genre, Vishwak’s performance, wild action scenes and climax are good. However, the strong emotion and conflict in the film are not connected properly enough for the audience to become involved in them. In addition, interesting elements are missing in the screenplay. Overall, this film will only impress action lovers in some places.

Bottom-line : Only For Vishwak Sen Fans
