Hero Nani’s latest production, HIT starring Falaknuma Das fame Vishwaksen in the lead role has created curiosity among the public. Directed by Dr.Sailesh Kolanu , the film has released today. Let’s see how it goes.
Vikram Rudraraju(Viswak Sen ) a high cadre HIT ( Homicide Intervention Team ) officer, will be kept away from investigation cases due to his panic attacks disorder. But at a need of hour, he will again take charge to trace out the missing mystery of a girl named Preeti. Paralley, his grilfreind Neha (Ruhani Sharma) also goes missing? At this crucial crux, how will Vikram traces the missing mystery of cases? Is narrated in an intense manner.
The presentation and narration part is the main USP of the film as the audience will experience a new kind of thrills while watching the film. The core investigation scenes are handled nicely and brings a lot of depth of the proceedings.
Hero Viswaksen is too good in the given role and delivers an impressive performance in all the crime investigation scenes. His screen presence and transformation as a cop are good and live up to the expectations.
Vishwaksen’s past and the flashback episodes are executed in a decent manner. Heroine Ruhani Sharma is okay in her given role and so is the case with other actors like Brahmaji, Bhanuchander. The wrap up scenes and premise hint for a sequence to HIT.
As the film is a serious crime and mysterious thriller, most of the film runs on a serious note and those who expect commerical elements like comedy and nice duet songs may get disappointed.
Though the intense investigation scenes are canned in a right manner, somewhere the film loose the grip in the second half unknowingly.
Once after the twists are revealed, the climax portion looks predictable.
Director Dr. Dr.Sailesh Kolanu is the main hero of the film as his screenplay and presentation are main assets of the film. He should be lauded for pickup up a serious investigation thriller as his debut film. Though the film’s story is simple, his screenplay and narration are gripping and keeps the proceedings engaging.
Background score by Vivek Sagar is the major highlight of the film as it elevates all the crucial scenes in a proper manner. Editing work and cinematography are good as both are apt to the film’s genre. Production values for this limited budget film are nice.
At an overview, HIT is a good investigative thriller that offers new experience in the thrillers genre. Vishwaksen’s acting and director Sailesh’s presentation are assets for the film. But on the other hand, the film may not get universal appeal due to its serious narration. To conclude, HIT is an easy one time watch during this weekend.
