Hero Nikhil’s upcoming film, Karthikeya 2 is all set to hit the screens on August 12th. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is said to be a franchise to the 2015 hit, Karthikeya.
As the film’s release date is nearing, Nikhil is seen widely promoting the film. In the process, he gave to an interview to one of the noted web portals.
In his interview, Nikhil said that many people tried to stop the release of Karthikeya 2( hinting that Dil Raju made postponed the film’s release from July 22nd for his Thank You movie).
Nikhil also revealed that he literally cried at that time when the film’s release was postponed. Concluding his statement, Nikhil said that he will be making the third and fourth series for the Karthikeya franchise.
Co-starring Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, Karthikeya 2 also has Srinivas Reddy and Viva Harsha in key roles. Music composed by Kaala Bhairava, the film is bankrolled by People Media Factory in association with Abhishek Agarwal.
