The highly ambitious and huge budget Ramayana is going to be released worldwide on November 5th. The stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi and Sunny Deol in main cast. The makers team has accelerated the promotions ahead of film release date. An international promotions event was held in Bengaluru yesterday. Along with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, Yash, who plays the role of Ravana and is also a co-producer of this film participated in this event. On this occasion, he revealed the real truth about the Ramayana original budget details to the media.
For some time now, there has been a lot of talk on social media about the budget of this film being Rs 6,000 crore. Responding to this, Yash clarified, “My partner in the production of this film, Namit Malhotra, is currently doing promotions in America. I am participating in the promotions with the film team India. Including the promotional expenses, the total budget of the films ‘Ramayana-1’ and ‘Ramayana-2’ is Rs 4,000 crore.”
Yash also explained the reason why another producer Namit Malhotra said that the budget of the film in America is 6,000 crore rupees. He said that when you want to do business in the international market, maximum budget figures and high self-confidence work out more there than following the Indian method. That is why Namit said that figure in view of the business equations there. However, he concluded that the actual budget for both parts is 4000 crores. Yash concluded that the success of the film will be determined by how much the audience supports it rather than the budget.
