The latest Telugu crime thriller Web series ‘Rudravanam PS’ is released on Zee5 OTT. Naresh Agastya, Banerjee, Charu Wakan and others are in key roles in this series, directed by Shashidhar Munnangi. Let’s find out how this web series, which has come in seven episodes, is like in the review.
Rudravanam PS Story Review:
The disappearance of eight people in a row under suspicious circumstances within the Rudravanam police station limits creates a stir. The case becomes even more sensational as the brother of local MLA Bhairavulu (Raja Ravindra) is also among the missing. With this, the honest police sub-inspector Shivakumar (Naresh Agastya) and CI Venugopal (Banerjee) take the case seriously and start investigating.
On the other hand, Shivakumar has some problems in his personal life as well. As his wife’s delivery approaches, family responsibilities on one hand, and the case of a series of disappearances on the other, become a challenge for him. He has to take the case forward amidst political pressures and orders from higher-ups in the police department.
In this sequence, a man named Anji (Charu Wakan) falls under the suspicion of the police. As he is detained and interrogated, the terrible truths behind the disappearances of the eight people are revealed one by one. Who is Anji? What is his connection with this case? What are the reasons behind the murders of the eight people? How does Shivakumar solve this case? This is an interesting topic in the series.

Rudravanam PS Actors Performance Review:
Naresh Agastya has acted in the role of Shivakumar in his own style. The commitment shown in the performance of duty as a police officer, and on the other hand the way he faces the difficulties faced in family life is good. However, although there is a possibility to show the emotions of the character more strongly, the acting feels ordinary in some scenes.
Banerjee impressed with his experience in the role of CI Venugopal. The role of MLA Bhairavulu played by Raja Ravindra is crucial in the story. The role of Charu Vakan also causes important turns in the story. The rest of the actors have acted to the best of their ability. However, the story would have been more interesting if some of the characters had been given a stronger introduction and importance.

Rudravanam PS Technically Aspects:
From the direction point of view, an attempt has been made to set the story in a natural environment. The surroundings of the police station and the rural areas are suitable for the story. The cinematography seems to be somewhat better compared to the rest of the technical departments. However, more attention should have been paid to the editing. If some scenes had been shortened, the story would have progressed faster. The music and background music are okay. The production values are in line with the story.
Rudravanam PS Final Verdict:
Although Rudravanam PS has some interesting twists in the last few episodes, it fails to provide the thrill that the audience desires. Those who like police investigation stories can give it a try. However, those who are looking for something new may not be fully satisfied by this series.
