Kiran Abbavaram’s crowd-pleaser ‘Chennai Love Story’, which struck gold at the box office, is now gearing up for its digital premiere. Sony LIV, which bagged the streaming rights, has officially confirmed that the film will begin streaming from August 21.
Directed by Ravi Namburi, the film brought together young hero Kiran Abbavaram and heroine Sri Gouri Priya in a romantic entertainer packed with fresh moments. National Award-winning writer Sai Rajesh penned the story and screenplay, giving the film a strong narrative backbone that resonated well with audiences. During its theatrical run, the movie earned solid word of mouth and turned out to be one of the biggest hits of Kiran Abbavaram’s career so far.
Starting August 21, the film will be available not just in Telugu but across other pan-Indian languages as well on Sony LIV. This comes as good news for fans who missed catching it on the big screen, as well as those who want to relive the theatrical experience from the comfort of home.
Music maestro Mani Sharma composed the tunes for the film, while Sai Rajesh and SKN jointly bankrolled the project as producers.
