Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s swan song as an actor, “Jana Nayagan,” is all set to make its digital debut soon. Directed by H. Vinoth, this action drama may not have won over critics, but it turned out to be a surprise packet at the box office.
Despite negative reviews, lukewarm word of mouth, and early piracy leaks, the film emerged as the highest-grossing Tamil movie of the year, once again proving Vijay’s massive pull among audiences in Tamil Nadu.
ZEE5, which has bagged the digital streaming rights, has officially announced that “Jana Nayagan” will begin streaming from August 21, with a possible simultaneous release in other Indian languages.
Produced by KVN Productions, the film features Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, and Priyamani in key roles, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
