Ram Pothineni is making his directorial debut with a project titled RAPO23. The film is currently progressing at jet speed, and the team recently completed a 10-day shooting schedule with 24-hour work schedules.
Now, the latest update is that the team is considering a few names for the antagonist role in the film. According to the latest industry buzz, the makers initially considered Fahadh Faasil for the crucial antagonist role. Later, the RAPO23 team approached SJ Suryah for the character, but the actor is said to have quoted around ₹7–8 crore for the role. Due to the high remuneration, the makers are now considering Riteish Deshmukh.
Interestingly, this casting has an additional personal connection. Riteish is Genelia’s husband and shares a close friendship with Ram Pothineni, making their collaboration particularly interesting. Discussions are currently underway, and an official announcement is expected soon.
