Young hero Sharwanand is known for choosing films with different concepts and trying to bring something fresh to the audience with every project. After delivering a successful Sankranti release with Nari Nari Naduma Murari earlier this year and following it up with the sports-based film Biker, the actor has now started his next project in style.
The film was officially launched today with a grand pooja ceremony. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the project has been titled George Krish and is being produced under the Eka Entertainment banner on a reportedly lavish scale.
The makers have announced that George Krish will arrive in theatres on January 14, 2027, as a Sankranti special. With Sharwanand returning to the festive season, expectations are already building around the project.
The female lead is yet to be officially confirmed. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Bhagyashri Borse are reportedly being considered for the role, while Raveena Tandon is also said to be in discussions for an important character.
The combination of Sharwanand and Sreenu Vaitla has created curiosity, especially with the film targeting the Sankranti season. With Sharwa’s strong track record during the festive period, Sreenu Vaitla’s reputation for family-oriented entertainers and the intriguing title George Krish, the film is shaping up as an interesting Sankranti 2027 release.
