Natural Star Nani’s latest film The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, has opened to strong numbers at the box office. Kaayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu and Sonal Kulkarni appear in key roles. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas and Ivy Entertainment banners, the film was released worldwide on September 24.

Given the massive expectations surrounding the film, The Paradise registered strong openings across the board, with Telugu states contributing a major share of the overall collections. So, how much did the film collect in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its second day?

According to Tollywood trade reports, The Paradise was made on a budget of over ₹120 crore. The film reportedly did a pre-release business of more than ₹80 crore in the Telugu states, with a reported share of around ₹35 crore each from Nizam and Andhra, and ₹10 crore from the Ceded region. To reach the break-even point in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film reportedly needs to generate around ₹160 crore in theatrical collections. worldwide the film need to collect 210Cr gross with 105 share to breakeven to clean hit status.

The film collected ₹5.75 crore through premieres in the Telugu states. On its opening day, Nani’s film delivered a strong ₹44 crore. Coming to Day 2, The Paradise collected approximately ₹8.50 crore in Telangana and ₹4.50 crore in Andhra Pradesh, taking its Day 2 total in the Telugu states to around ₹13 crore.

With this, the film’s two-day total in the Telugu states has reportedly crossed the ₹57 crore mark. Despite receiving mixed talk, the film has continued to maintain a steady pace at the box office. Since Friday was a working day, bookings were comparatively slower, but trade circles are expecting the film to witness better numbers over the Saturday-Sunday weekend.

Coming to the film’s overall performance in India, The Paradise collected ₹11 crore through paid premieres, followed by ₹34.65 crore on Day 1 and ₹16 crore on Day 2 at box office collection.

The film has reportedly collected ₹63.40 crore in India net and ₹74.20 crore in gross collections in 2 days, including paid premieres.

According to Trade reports, the film has collected around ₹56.25 crore net from the Telugu states, while Tamil Nadu contributed ₹3 crore, Karnataka ₹7.35 crore, Kerala ₹57 lakh, and the rest of India ₹5.33 crore.

In terms of language-wise collections, the Telugu version has reportedly collected ₹56.10 crore net, while the Hindi version has contributed ₹3.65 crore and the Tamil version ₹1.40 crore.

Including the UK, Europe, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Gulf and other international markets, the film has reportedly collected around ₹26 crore overseas.

With the weekend ahead, the film is expected to see an improvement in collections, particularly on Saturday and Sunday. Trade analysts are projecting that The Paradise could cross the ₹130 crore mark worldwide by the end of the first weekend, depending on its weekend hold.
