Toxic Review & Verdict
Toxic is a stylish and ambitious action film that relies heavily on Yash’s screen presence, larger-than-life moments and impressive action sequences. The film looks rich and has several whistle-worthy moments, but the director Geetu Mohandas unable to handle the screenplay and narration which is big drawback.
The biggest issue is that the film doesn’t always make it clear who is fighting whom, why certain characters are being killed, or how the different storylines connect. The emotional portions also don’t land as strongly as they should.
For audiences who enjoy high-octane action, stylish visuals and Yash’s mass screen presence, Toxic may be worth watching on the big screen. But those looking for a clear narrative and strong emotional depth may come away disappointed.
